Care & Maintenance
Cordless Aluminum Blinds
1” cordless aluminum blinds are designed for durability and easy upkeep. For routine cleaning, fully lower the blinds and tilt the slats open, then dust using a microfiber cloth, feather duster, or vacuum with a soft brush attachment. For deeper cleaning, wipe slats gently with a damp cloth and mild, non-abrasive soap. Avoid harsh chemicals, ammonia, or scrubbing pads, as they may damage the finish. Ensure blinds are fully dry before raising to maintain smooth cordless operation.
2” Faux Wood Blinds
Premium faux wood blinds are moisture-resistant and well-suited for kitchens, bathrooms, and commercial spaces. Clean regularly by dusting or vacuuming with a soft brush attachment. For stains or buildup, wipe slats with a damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid abrasive cleaners or excessive moisture. Faux wood blinds do not require conditioning or polishing and should be fully dry before tilting or raising.
2” Wood Blinds
Real wood blinds should be dusted frequently using a soft cloth, duster, or vacuum with a brush attachment. For deeper cleaning, use a slightly damp cloth followed immediately by drying with a clean, dry cloth. Avoid excessive moisture, water, or harsh cleaners, as wood can warp or discolor. Periodic use of a wood-safe polish may help maintain the finish, but is optional. Wood blinds are best suited for dry, climate-controlled spaces.
2” Vinyl Blinds
Vinyl blinds are low-maintenance and easy to clean. Dust regularly or vacuum with a soft brush attachment. For deeper cleaning, wipe slats with a damp cloth using mild soap and water. Vinyl blinds can tolerate more moisture than wood but should not be soaked or exposed to harsh chemicals. Allow blinds to fully dry before operation.
3.5” Vinyl Vertical Blinds
Premium vinyl vertical blinds should be dusted regularly using a microfiber cloth or vacuum with a brush attachment. Individual vanes may be wiped with a damp cloth and mild soap as needed. Avoid twisting or bending vanes during cleaning. Ensure vanes are fully dry before rotating or stacking to maintain proper alignment and smooth operation.
